2024 Nissan GT-R: A Trim Comparison

by Car Digest
December 8, 2023

The Nissan GT-R is more than a powerful engine, though it does have plenty of horsepower to satiate the speediest of demons. It’s also a high-tech dynamo that will blow away the competition and one of the best performance cars on the market.

Available Nissan GT-R Trims

The 2024 Nissan GT-R comes in three different trim options to choose from this year, with the newest option being the T-Spec. We examine each of the available trims, including the insanely high-powered NISMO trim. Let’s take a closer look!

2024 Nissan GT-R Trims

Premium

The 2024 Nissan GT-R Premium starts at around $122,885 and comes with a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged 24-valve V-6 engine. This beast is capable of 565 horsepower and takes advantage of a Premium Midship platform design for balance. The dual-clutch six-speed transmission has three driver-selectable modes: normal, R-mode, and save. To help the driver maintain control, this trim of the Nissan GT-R features an electric all-wheel-drive system. It can provide all available torque to the rear wheels or can send 50% the front wheels, when necessary.

The GT-R Premium trim has a unique vehicle dynamic control system with three driver-selectable modes. It’s designed unlike any other stability control system on the road because it adjusts engine speed and applies brakes to the appropriate wheel when it senses over- or under-steering. This helps keep drivers snugly on the road during less than ideal weather conditions. The titanium exhaust also has exhaust sound control.

For convenience, it has a configurable multi-function display system. Additionally, drivers will find a rearview monitor, 11 Bose speakers, dual-zone climate control, leather upholstery, and active noise cancellation. The vehicle’s infotainment system features an 8-inch touchscreen, navigation features, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, two USB ports, HD radio, and lastly, satellite radio.

T-Spec

2024 Nissan GT-R T-Spec

The Nissan GT-R T-Spec option, starting at &142,885, features the same engine as the base trim. It’s differences lie mainly in its appearance, but it also offers some performance tweaks. The T-Spec boasts gold-painted Rays 20-inch wheels and comes with wider front fenders. The carbon-ceramic brakes provide stronger stopping power. Additionally, the vehicle features revised dynamic vehicle control tunings.

Notable, this trim offers exclusive paint choices: Millenium Jade and Midnight Purple.

NISMO

The 2024 Nissan GT-R NISMO starts at around $222,885. This trim comes with the NISMO-tuned 600-horsepower, 3.8-liter high capacity engine that could be found in 2022’s GT-R Track Edition. This trim pairs NISMO black 20-inch super-lightweight Rays wheels from the previous trim with the addition of a specific NISMO aerodynamic body design. The carbon-fiber front and rear fascia allow this vehicle to attain top speeds without any issues.

The inside is just as sleek with a red and black interior, plus the tachometer receives a major upgrade. This specially designed and badged instrument gives the driver a clear and detailed view of the engine’s performance. The NISMO Recaro leather-appointed front seats are lined with comfortable synthetic suede inserts and help support your body through even the strongest of g-forces during turns.

Other features offered in the NISMO are suede-wrapped steering wheel and carbon fiber accents for reduced vehicle weight. On the outside, you’ll find new swan neck spoiler. Exclusive to the NISMO is an available Stealth Gray body color.
