2024 Ford Edge: A Trim Comparison

by Car Digest
November 11, 2023

It’s time to live life on the Edge! The 2024 Ford Edge is designed for those who want something between the Escape and the Explorer. With room for five passengers, this mid-size, two-row crossover offers plenty of space in the cabin for a family or a weekend warrior just looking to hang out with a few friends. We’re comparing each of the trims to figure out what the Ford Edge really has going for it.

2024 Ford Edge Trim Comparison

The 2024 Ford Edge has four trims that are all spacious but also offer different engine options and infotainment systems. Which one is right for you?

SE

The 2024 Ford Edge begins its trim lineup with the SE at $38,365. It has enough seating for five passengers, which is ideal for families. The SE uses a 250-horsepower, 2.0L EcoBoost engine that gets up to 21 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. It comes standard with all-wheel drive and 18-inch wheels.

The interior is perfect for long road trips or Sunday trips to the grocery store. It has a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa integration, six-speaker audio, and satellite radio. Additionally, you’ll get four USB ports and remote keyless entry. Dual-zone climate control comes standard as well.

Even the Ford Co-Pilot360 safety package is standard with the base model. Rear parking sensors, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warning are among the features included in this package.

SEL

The SEL trim starts at $39,565. It comes with the same 2.0L EcoBoost engine as the SE. On the inside, the SEL adds a few features that make this trim level much more enjoyable to drive. One of the main additions is the synthetic leather upholstery. Heated and power-adjustable front seats provide exceptional comfort to the driver and front-side passenger. This trim also gains a leather-wrapped steering wheel and rear parking sensors. Optional features include a navigation system, panoramic sunroof, and adaptive cruise control. Fortunately, trailer towing equipment comes at no additional charge.

ST-Line

The ST-Line starts at $43,620 with all-wheel-drive. This version of the Edge features a restyled exterior with black accents and 20-inch wheels. On the inside, you’ll get red interior stitching and artificial suede inserts. Wireless device charging and remote start are included as well.

Titanium

The 2024 Ford Edge Titanium is the next trim, and it starts at $43,720. If the SEL doesn’t have enough convenience for you, the Titanium is your dream come true. It adds a superior 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system and some key features for comfort, such as diamond-patterned synthetic leather seats, a heated steering wheel, a hands-free power liftgate, ambient interior lighting and wireless device charging.

On top of that, the driver’s seat upgrades to a 10-way power-adjustable seat with memory settings, and the passenger to a six-way power-adjustable seat. Other gains include 19-inch wheels, chrome accents, front parking sensors, and upgraded LED exterior lighting.

Optional features are available as well, including a front-view camera and a semi-autonomous parking assist system.

ST

Lastly, the Ford Edge ST trim starts at $47,205. It comes with an upgraded engine. The 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine is capable of 335 horsepower as well as 380 lb.-ft. of torque. However, this will drop your fuel economy to an estimated 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. In addition to the new motor, you’ll get a sport-tuned suspension and sport-tuned steering, as well as 20-inch machine-finish wheels.

The seating in the ST trim also changes from synthetic leather to leather-trimmed with Miko suede inserts. In addition to this, the outside adds a bit of flair with a gloss black-painted mesh grille with ST logo and Bi-LED Low and High beam Headlamps.
