The 2024 Toyota Sienna doesn’t offer many new features and design changes as it had recently been completely redesigned for the 2021 model year. It does, however, offer a brand new trim: the Woodland Edition. Nevertheless, it’s still one of the best minivans on the market.

This new fourth-generation Sienna is hybrid-only, featuring a 2.5L four-cylinder engine. The EPA estimates the hybrid engine’s fuel economy rating at 36 mpg on both highway and city driving, with the 18-gallon fuel tank giving the Sienna a range of 648 driving miles. That makes it the perfect choice for your next family road trip. Read on to learn more about the Toyota Sienna.
LE
The 2024 Toyota Sienna LE starts at $37,185 and has plenty of family-friendly features for a base model vehicle. The interior has enough room for eight passengers, a tri-zone automatic climate control system, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Connect your smartphone via Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa, and listen to music or navigation through a six-speaker stereo.
Keeping your family safe is important, so Toyota includes numerous safety features. This Sienna comes equipped with a pre-collision system that detects pedestrians. There are also lane departure alerts, automatic high beams, dynamic cruise control, and road sign assist. Driver assistance features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-changing assistance features.
The LE Plus package for $2,300 adds an auto-dimming rearview mirror, wireless device charging, a moonroof, and a universal garage door opener. It also upgrades the audio system to an eight-speaker stereo.
XLE
The 2024 Toyota Sienna XLE has a price of $42,495 and comes with several upgrades. The Sienna XLE upgrades the seating to SofTex synthetic leather seats. Both front seats are heated. The driver gets an 8-way powered seat; the passenger is 4-way power-adjustable. The seating configuration can also be adjusted between 8-passenger (middle- and third-row bench seating) or 7-passenger (two middle-row captains chairs and a third-row bench). It’s worth noting that the AWD model only comes with the 7-passenger setup. There’s also a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power liftgate, quad-zone climate control, and proximity keyless entry.
Buyers can opt for the XLE Plus package for $2,000. It adds navigation, a 12-speaker JBL stereo and wireless device charging. Purchasing this package will also give you access to exclusive features like a household-style power outlet, rear-seat entertainment system with an 11.6-inch display, an HDMI input, and two sets of wireless headphones.
XSE
The 2024 Toyota Sienna XSE is a bit more sporty than the other trims. It adds some cosmetic touches like black side rocker panels and a metallic black sport mesh grille on the front of the vehicle. The heated, power side mirrors are also black, and the wheels are 20 inches instead of 17.
Inside, the driver can communicate with passengers via an in-car intercom system called Driver Easy Speak. The seats carry over the performance-focused theme with sport-trimmed SofTex. The 7-passenger configuration is the only option for this trim. Navigation comes standard with this trim.
The FWD version starts at $44,745. The all-wheel-drive option on this trim is one of the best bargains. It only adds $890 to the starting price.
Woodland Edition
The Woodland Edition starts at $48,125 and comes in all-wheel-drive. As an upgrade of the XLE trim, it adds features such as wireless device charging, a 12-speaker JBL audio system, navigation and 120-volt power outlets.
It’s also worth noting that this version features a higher ground clearance and 18-inch wheels, making it more suitable for outdoor adventures.
Limited
The 2024 Toyota Sienna Limited starts at $49,445. The difference between this trim and the Sienna XSE is that the Sienna Limited is more focused on luxury than sporty styling. Gone is the sport mesh grille and a dark gray metallic one is in its place. Similarly, the black side mirrors are replaced with body-colored ones. The wheels shrink from 20 to 18-inch ones.
Instead of black accent styling, the Sienna Limited has chrome. It can be found on the roof rails and the rear lower bumper. This is also the first trim to come standard with a wireless phone charging pad. The leather seating is also upgraded to have heating and ventilation (in the front, at least). The captain’s chairs in the second row get a nifty ottoman feature for when you really want to put your feet up.
Like the Woodland trim, you will get navigation and a 12-speaker JBL stereo.
Platinum
The 2024 Toyota Sienna Platinum has an MSRP of $52,645. It’s the top-of-the-line model and the best Toyota Sienna trim in terms of safety, comfort, and convenience. There’s also a 10-inch heads-up display so drivers don’t have to take their eyes off the road to see vital information. Don’t worry about your windshield wipers again because these sense the rain for you.
The second-row captain’s chairs also get heated seating on this trim. Get a bird’s-eye view with 360-degree parking.
