The 2023 Chevrolet Malibu is not only an incredible value, but it also has a safety rating of five stars according to U.S. News & World Report. It’s no wonder that it’s one of the most popular sedans on the market. Six trims give plenty of options for creating a specification that’s just right for you.
Comparing Malibu Trims
The 2023 Chevrolet Malibu is fun, affordable and safe! Find a Malibu trim that’s right for you in your budget. Here we’ll take a look at all the available trims for the 2023 Chevy Malibu.
LS
The Malibu L trim has been dropped for this year and the LS is the entry-level trim that takes its place, starting at $24,700. Its best highlights include an 8-inch touch display, six-speaker sound system, rear vision camera, and wireless phone connectivity. On top of that, you’ll get Bluetooth and a Wi-fi hotspot. Buyers will also find 6-way adjustable driver and passenger seats, keyless open and start, and StabiliTrak electronic stability control system.
The 2023 Chevrolet Malibu LS also comes with a teen driver monitoring system and Buckle to Drive feature to ensure safety. This trim can get up to 27 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.
Safety features are plentiful this year, and include forward collision warning, pedestrian detection and a rearview camera. Lane keeping assist and lane departure warning are standard as well. With features like a Teen Driver monitor system and rear seat alert, you can ensure your kids are safe whether they in the back seat or behind the wheel.
RS
The 2023 Chevrolet Malibu RS is a racing-inspired blacked-out trim. For $25,700, the Chevy Bowtie and badging around the car are converted to black. In addition, the front of the vehicle sports a black sport grille. The rear of the car gains a spoiler and has dual exhaust outlets. To complete the overall cosmetic look, the car rides on top of 18-inch bright machined-aluminum wheels.
LT
The 2023 Chevrolet Malibu LT starts at $28,100 and has a few additional features that make it more comfortable to drive. The best feature is the inclusion of heated seats and dual-zone automatic climate control. But remember, the standard seat offering on the Malibu LT is cloth, even with the addition of heating.
Other minor standard features include outside heated power-adjustable body-colored mirrors, a body-color antenna, and LED daytime running lamps.
2LT
Lastly, if you want all the premium features standard, the 2LT trim is for you. This replaces the Premier trim from last year. It starts at $31,500 and is worth every penny. Some of the highlighted features include perforated leather seats, six-way power-adjustable front seats, nine-speaker Bose audio, wireless charging and navigation. There’s also an 8-inch digital gauge cluster.
For an extra $1K, you can add on adaptive cruise control and automatic parking assist. Dropped for 2022 is the option for a beefier 2.0-liter engine.
