by Car Digest
November 18, 2023

The Toyota Tundra returns for 2024! Improving upon the 2023 model, you’ll get powerful engine options, a comfortable new interior, a state-of-the-art infotainment system, and much more. If you are looking for a truck for both work and play, the Toyota Tundra may be just the pickup for you.

2024 Toyota Tundra Trim Options

When it comes to the 2024 Toyota Tundra, you have six different trim options to choose from: the SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, TRD Pro, and Capstone. Additionally, you’ll have options for a twin-turbo gas powertrain or a twin-turbo with an electric motor. When properly equipped, the Tundra can tow 12,000 pounds and haul up to 1,940. Read on to learn more!

2024 Toyota Tundra

SR

The 2024 Toyota Tundra SR is the base-level trim of the new Tundra, starting at $39,965. Price-wise, it’s comparable to the Chevy Silverado. At this level, the Tundra boasts a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates 358 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque.

The SR trim offers an impressive array of standard features, such as a user-friendly 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Additionally, you get features like a six-speaker stereo, satellite radio, and smartphone integration features: Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. However, if you opt for the crew cab, you’ll get a nine-speaker stereo instead. Other features include a Wi-Fi hotspot, USB ports, automatic climate control,  push-button start, and a sliding rear window.

In the way of safety features in the base trim, Toyota doesn’t hold back much. You’ll get the industry-standard rearview camera and forward automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and pedestrian detection. Furthermore, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, and lane tracing assist. On top of this, you’ll get adaptive cruise control and traffic sign recognition. All these features come standard in the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 suite.

SR5

The 2024 Toyota Tundra SR5 starts at $45,500. It doesn’t offer much in the way of additional standard features, but you will get more options with this trim. One option is to opt for the CrewMax cab with a nine-speaker stereo and power-retractable rear window.

You can also add rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring and surround-view parking camera system with the SR5 convenience package. Next, the SX appearance package features 18-inch dark gray metallic wheels, body-colored exterior trim, black interior trim, and unique black badging. Lastly, two TRD packages are available at this level: a TRD Sport package designed for improved road performance and a TRD Off-Road package.

2022 Toyota Tundra

Limited

The 2024 Toyota Tundra Limited ramps the luxury with synthetic leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, and heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats. The infotainment screen is updated to a 14-inch model, and you’ll get additional USB ports as well. Further standard safety features include blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

The optional Limited PVM package adds a surround-view parking camera, while the Limited Power Package adds an in-bed power outlet and wireless device charging. This model comes in a double cab or CrewMax cab. For an additional cost, you can add on the TRD Off-Road package, also available with the SR5. On top of that, you can get the Nightshade appearance package with 20-inch black alloy wheels and black exterior trim.

With that said, the Limited trim all starts at $51,855 for the gas version or $54,235 for the hybrid. The hybrid model features the same gas engine as the gas models but is paired with an electric motor that provides a combined 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque.

Platinum

The Toyota Tundra Platinum trim offers the pinnacle of pickup luxury with leather seats, a panoramic moonroof, heated and ventilated rear seats, a 12-speaker JBL audio system. Wireless device charging eliminates the need for you to pack your charging cables. The instrument cluster is upgraded to a 12.3-inch digital gauge. The truck bed features lighting and a power outlet, making this model ideal as a work truck. Finally, there’s a standard surround-view parking camera with this trim.

2024 Toyota Tundra Platinum

As an option, you can get the Advanced Package with a heads-up display and load-leveling air suspension.

The Tundra Platinum model costs $61,775 or $65,705 for the hybrid trim. The CrewMax cab is the only option for this trim level.

1794 Edition

The Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition offers almost everything you’ll get in the Platinum trim but along with unique styling accents and material upgrades. It is also only available with a Crew cab. Get it starting at $62,460.

TRD Pro

The 2024 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro trim is for those who are looking for fun. It’s made for the off-road with special suspension, Fox shocks, a high-strength fuel tank, and a locking rear differential. Other features include crawl control and an off-road camera.

2024 Toyota Tundra

Get the TRD Pro starting at $72,130. It is available exclusively with the Crew Cab body with a 5-foot-6-inch bed and comes equipped with a V6 hybrid powertrain and four-wheel drive and includes nearly all of the Premium trim features. Furthermore, it has a special grille with an integrated light bar and synthetic leather upholstery with an exclusive camouflage pattern.

Capstone

The last option is the 2024 Toyota Tundra Capstone trim, which starts at $78,845. It is available exclusively as a Crew Cab and has a V6 hybrid powertrain and four-wheel drive. Like the TRD Pro, it includes everything in the Platinum trim, along with a few extras. In this case, the extras are a head-up display, 22-inch wheels, and power-retractable running boards.
