by Car Digest
October 31, 2023

The Hyundai Kona returns for 2023 with several trim options, new standard features, and a whole lot more. Drivers are finding that the Kona affords a comfortable ride, a user-friendly entertainment system and a luxurious interior for the price.

2023 Hyundai Kona Trims

The 2023 Hyundai Kona is offered in six different trims with upgraded features and powerful engine options. If you are looking for the best SUV for your needs, check out this helpful guide!

SE

The 2023 Hyundai Kona SE is the base trim with a starting price of $21,990. With this model, you’ll get a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 147 horsepower and is paired with a continuously variable transmission. The base engine offers less horsepower but makes up for it with better fuel economy estimates. It gets 27 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.

As for features, you’ll get a 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, three USB ports and a six-speaker audio system. Driver assistance safety features include a rearview camera, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, driver drowsiness monitoring, pedestrian detection and lane keep assist.

Additionally, the SEL includes HD radio and satellite radio, which you won’t get with the base model.

N-Line

The N-Line starts at $27,700. The main difference between this trim and the others mentioned above are the unique sports styling elements and the upgraded engine. The 175-horsepower turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

This trim adds features like navigation, a 10.25-inch touch display, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, voice recognition, wireless device charging and Hyundai’s Digital Key. Other features included are a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, a sunroof, and automatic climate control.
