Kia Soul LX
The base model LX starts at $19,990. This includes a 147-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, a CVT transmission and front-wheel-drive. The Soul’s long list of standard features include cloth upholstery, six-way manually adjustable front seats, a tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel and remote keyless entry. Other standard features offered with this trim are the Kia’s UVO infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, six-speaker audio, rearview camera, USB port and Bluetooth.
The LX now includes Kia’s Drive Wise safety suite with forward emergency braking, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, and lane-keeping assist. It also has features like rear-seat alert, automatic high-beams and driver attention monitoring. For another $500, you can add blindspot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert. This package also gives you 16-inch alloy wheels and lane-change assist.
S
The X, which starts at $22,290, features upgraded cloth upholstery, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The infotainment system features a 10.25-inch touchscreen, HD radio, navigation, two additional USB ports, and wireless device charging.
This model offers safety features not in the LX trim. For instance, you’ll get forward automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane change assist, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross traffic alert. But these are just some of the driver assistance features designed to protect you on the road.
GT-Line
The Kia Soul GT-Line is available starting at $23,590. It offers everything in the S trim plus a little more. The G-Line offers synthetic leather upholstery, restyled front and rear bumpers, 18-inch alloy wheels and center-exit exhaust.
The GT-Line Technology package for $2,400 adds a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, and 10-speaker audio. Adaptive cruise control, LED headlights and fog lights come included as well. Lastly, you’ll get a cargo cover and an adjustable cargo shelf.
EX
The EX, starting at $24,290, is an upgrade from the S that offers a sunroof, heated front seats, an adjustable cargo shelf, as well as a cargo cover. The package also upgrades wheels to 17-inch alloy versions.
New for 2024, the Kia Soul EX offers an optional Designer package for $500, which adds on synthetic and cloth upholstery and exclusive 18-inch sport wheels.
The 2024 Kia Soul is an excellent subcompact SUV for smaller families. In addition to the vehicle’s safety and comfort features, the vehicle has two sets of LATCH connectors for car seats. The best part of the Soul, however, is the cargo space. Behind the rear seats, you’ll get 24.2 cubic feet of space. With the rear seats folded, you’ll get an impressive 62.1 cubic feet.
