5 Used Cars with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

by Car Digest
June 14, 2024

Great technology isn’t just for luxury cars. Now you can find Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in your favorite, affordable vehicles.

These integrations let you project your smartphone functions onto your vehicle’s in-dash display while plugged into your car via USB. These are some of the best cars that have both of these applications.

2017 Honda Civic

The Civic has long been one of Honda’s best vehicles, and this year’s model comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For a starting MSRP of $18,740, this car is a great deal. It gets 28 mpg in the city and 40 mpg on the highway and comes with other features like heated seats, a 7-inch touch-screen display, steering wheel controls, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The safety features also make it a perfect first car for any driver and include a lane-keeping assist system, collision mitigation braking system, and forward collision warnings.

2017 Kia Forte

The Kia Forte is a compact sedan but has plenty of power for its small size. Along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, this vehicle has heated and vented seats, a heated steering wheel, 4.3-inch touch-screen display, rear camera display, and Bluetooth connectivity for the days you don’t have a USB. The fuel economy for the Kia Forte is an estimated 29 mpg in the city and 38 on the highway. If this sedan seems right for you, you can pick it up for a starting MSRP of $16,600.

2017 Chevrolet Cruze

Chevrolet is one of the top manufacturers on the market, and the Cruze is an affordable, reliable option for someone looking for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This little car gets great gas mileage at 29 mpg in the city and 38 on the highway. The Cruze also comes with a push-button start, wireless charging, and a 9-speaker Bose audio system. Every Chevrolet also comes with Complete Care which includes two maintenance visits, five years/60,000 miles of roadside assistance, five years of OnStar Basic, and six months of OnStar Guidance. The MSRP of the Cruze starts at $16975.

2017 Hyundai Sonata

The 2017 Sonata is a mid-size sedan for the whole family to love. It starts with an MSRP of $21,600 and gets 28 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway. Along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, it also comes with a hands-free smart trunk, intelligent cruise control, an 8-inch touch-screen display, and a rearview camera. Just in case you forget your USB cord, it also comes with an integrated Bluetooth system and SiriusXM so you can listen to your favorite music wherever you go.

2017 Ford Mustang

The Mustang is the ultimate sports car and now comes with Apple Car Play and Android Auto so you can listen to your best tunes while racing down the road. It’s designed to compete with muscle cars on the market, so it only gets 18 mpg in the city and 27 on the highway, but you’re trading gas mileage for a powerful engine. It also comes with a push-button start, a Blind-Spot information system, and adaptive cruise control. The Mustang has a starting MSRP of $25,185, and it’s available today.
