The 2023 Chevy Traverse is mid-size SUV with families designed in mind. The vehicle offers powerful performance over its competitors along with intuitive features. While there are no major improvements for the 2023 year, the new Traverse certainly has plenty to offer.
Choosing a Traverse Trim
The 2023 Chevy Traverse is available in six different trim levels, offering something for everyone, no matter what your family’s needs. Read on to learn just what each trim level can provide for you.
LS
The Chevy Traverse LS is the first trim in the lineup with a starting MSRP of $34,520. While many SUVs pack a weaker four-cylinder engine, the Traverse L comes standard with a 310-horsepower V6 engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, however, you can opt for all-wheel driver for another $2,000.
In the way of features, you won’t be too disappointed, given the price. Off the bat, you’ll get tri-zone climate control and an infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, plus a Wi-Fi hotspot. Six USB ports are spread throughout the vehicle. A rearview camera and teen driver safety system are included as well.
Also included with the LS trim are driver assistance features like forward collision warning, forward automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and lane keeping assist.
For $790, the Safety package adds rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
LT Cloth
Starting at $37,035, the LT Cloth provides some significant upgrades from the base model. The LT Cloth upgrades seating in a few ways. The driver’s seat becomes a power-adjustable seat, and the second-row seats upgrade to captain’s chairs. Other standard features include wireless device charging, and more driver’s assistance features – most notably – blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert and rear parking sensors.
For $1,295, you can get an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with satellite radio, a 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster, heated front seats, a universal garage door opener, remote start and a power liftgate. However, if you opt for the next trim level, you can get all that plust leather seats.
LT Leather
The third trim level is the LT Leather with genuine leather upholstery. The leather upgrade of the LT trim starts at $40,740. This trim features a power-adjustable front passenger seat, in addition to the driver’s seat. The front seats feature heat settings, along with steering wheel on top of that.
Furthermore, this trim provides several interior upgrades. For one, you’ll get an 8-inch touchscreen with satellite radio. The digital gauge cliutser is upgraded to a digital one. In the way of convenience features, you’ll get a universal garage door opener and remote start. Have easy access to your cargo area with a power tailgate.
The LT Premium package comes packed with features for $3,795. Among the features offered are navigation, a 10-speaker Bose audio system and a 120-volt household-style power outlet. Driver assistance features include adaptive cruise control, rear pedestrian detection, a rearview mirror with integrated camera, and a surround-view parking camera system.
RS
Next, the Traverse RS has a starting price of around $45,045. This trim comes with all the previous standard features in the LT Leather trim. However, this model adds trim-specific styling and 20-inch wheels. Notable features include most of which is in the LT Premium package such as navigation, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, and a surround-view parking camera. On top of this, it features a rearview mirror camera and adaptive cruise control.
Premier
Starting at $47,200, the Premier trim comes with ventilated front seats, heated second-row rear seats, and a hands-free power liftgate. Additionally, safety alert seats are ideal for those with younger passengers.
For $2,495, you can opt-in for the Redline Edition package, which gives you unique styling and trailer-hitch guidance for your rearview camera. A sunroof icomeswith the package as well, or you can purchase that alone for $1,500.
High Country
Last but not least, the High Country starts at about $52,000. This model comes loaded with the features of the Redline package, minus the Redline styling elements, while also giving you a power-folding third row.
