2024 Kia EV6 Trims
the new Kia EV6 offers an incredible driving range, a ton of features and a comfortable interior with the base trim alone. Nevertheless, you’ll get some superb upgrades with the three other trim options available. The 2024 Kia EV6 changes things up this year with a discontinued Light trim but a new GT option.
Light
The 2024 Kia EV6 Light Trim boasts a 167-horsepower rear-wheel-drive powertrain that offers decent range and performance starting at $42,600. But for a little extra, you can get the longer range, 225-horsepower powertrain and rear-wheel drive starting at $45,950.
The vehicle comes standard with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite radio,HD radio and a six-speaker stereo are all included with this base trim. You’ll even get features like a Wi-Fi hotspot, navigation, wireless device charging and dual-zone automatic climate control, which drivers typically need to pay extra for when it comes to non-luxury models.
Other notable features include the remote start system, proximity keyless entry, five USB ports, and Wi-Fi hotspot. With the long-range variant, you’ll get all-wheel-drive and a heated steering wheel.
And on top of all that, you get a huge suite of safety features that includes rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control – just to name a few.
Wind
The 2024 Kia EV6 Wind trim starts at $48,700, or $52,600 for the all-wheel-drive model. It provides superior performance and range thanks to an electric motor with a 77.4-kWh lithium-ion battery electric motor that generates 225 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This motor provides up to 310 miles of range, which is about the equivalent of 134 mpg in the city and 101 mpg on the highway. With AWD, however, that drops to about 120 and 98 mpg.
The AWD model features two electric motors, and a 77.4-kWh lithium-ion battery, capable of generating 320 horsepower and 446 lb-ft of torque.
In terms of features, Kia is exceedingly generous with the 2024 EV6 Wind. For one it offers V2L capability, allowing you to charge other devices using your vehicle’s power. Inside, there’s synthetic leather upholstery, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, ventilated front seats, and a 14-speaker premium Meridian audio system. Convenience features include front parking sensors and a hands-free power liftgate.
With the all-wheel-drive model, you’ll also get heated rear seats.
Options
The Technology package, for another $1,500, gives you a blind spot camera, surround-view parking camera, reverse automatic emergency braking, and remote park assist. In other words, if you struggle with parking, this is definitely the package for you.
EV6 GT-Line
The GT-Line starts at $52,900 for the rear-wheel-drive model, or you can get the all-wheel-drive model for $57,600. It offers the contents of the Technology package, as well as unique styling elements. Other luxurious features include ambient LED interior lighting, a sunroof, and a universal garage door opener. Driver assistance features gained: a head-up display, evasive-steering and intersection assist, and automatic lane change features.
If you opt for all-wheel drive, you’ll also get 20-inch black-colored alloy wheels, a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats.
EV6 GT
The GT trim offers peak performance. Its two electric motors generate a whopping 576 horsepower and 545 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle has a top speed of 161 mph and can travel from zero to 60 mph time in just 3.4 seconds. Also adding to the vehicle’s excellent performance are electronic sport suspension and an electronic limited-slip differential. Additionally, you’ll get 21-inch wheels – and summer tires to go along with them.
Lastly, the interior features special heated sport bucket seats and a flat-bottom sport steering wheel. However, it should be noted that the seats are manual rather than power-adjustable.
